[EventCalendar] archive listing problems

Alex,

Love the changes to rc2 but I still have questions/problems/suggestions.

My desired outcome:

*	I use this calendar in a blog for our band that is ONLY for listing
our schedule of events. I would like people to be able to see where we are
going to be playing at (upcoming events) as well as some places that we have
played (past events). I would like them to be posted in chronological order
based on the event date. The past events will be used to allow people to
leave comments about the programs (see
http://thewellministries.org/schedule/?p=80).

My problems:

*	If I list both categories in the post when I make the post, then the
"upcoming events" are included in the "past events" list as well as the
upcoming events list. This did not happen in the early version that used the
post date to list the event, as the other categories did not show posts that
the date had not come yet. Now that you use the the_schedule for the date it
doesn't keep them from not showing.

*	The posts in the past events archive do not list chronological based
on the event but on the post date. (
http://thewellministries.org/schedule/?cat=2)

*	I could not figure out how to separate the event date and time used
in the posts to use in a printable version. So I had to use custom fields
and a plugin to list them. (a little extra work but it works
http://thewellministries.org/schedule/?cat=1p)

Possible Solution/Suggestion?:

*	Is there a way to use multiple categories then after the event date
a category is erased, deleted, or otherwise changed?

*	Is there a way to sort the posts by the_schedule date instead of the
post date?

*	Is there a way to format the event date differently, ie. side by
side instead of top and bottom?

*	Can the day be included in the date listed?

I wish I was more knowledgeable in php but instead I have to rely on others'
advice.

Thanks for you help so far.
