Yes and yes.  But sometimes the same event takes place at multiple
times.  Consequently, I hope to create links corresponding with each
show, rather than cloning the entire post and creating new metadata
for each show.  One very nice thing about EventCalendar is that,
when you create multiple events on a specific post, all that info is
embedded within one post, and all the info about each show appears
within the body of the main post.  I'm hoping to preserve that
virtue while adding the ticket link option for multiple shows.

Is it possible to create "meta data" on the events themselves to
output the links?
