This should work (if you upgrade):
  http://thewellministries.org/schedule/?ec3_after=today&cat=4

But since you are on RC3, you need to use 'ec3_from' instead of  
'ec3_after'.

You can't be more discriminating in the "Upcoming Events" sidebar  
box. That just always shows the next N [days?] events, regardless of  
category.
