Any particular reason that you are using 3.0.4? You really should
download the new version 3.1 from: http://sourceforge.net/projects/
wpcal/

No, the template is the file in your particular theme that controls
how your blog looks.

You can use a plugin that allows you to add php directly to a page
from within the wordpress "write page" window, or you will need to
edit the "page.php" file in your theme. That said, you probably DO
NOT want the calendar to appear on every page, so you probably want
to make a custom page template just for the calendar page. See the
codex: http://codex.wordpress.org/Pages

You want to use ec_get_calendar()
This will make for a rather ugly full page calendar, but the thread:
http://wordpress.org/support/topic/27491?replies=31 may give you some
clues as to how to pretty it up.

Hope this helps get you on your way!
