[EventCalendar] eventcalendar upgrade

[Linquity HELP]

I would like to upgrade to the latest version of EC  from 3.1._pre13, the
current version I am using on www.fge.org.ro for managing the concert
schedule.
My question, after reading the Digest, is to advice on a safe upgrade, in
order not to loose events already entered and to successfully add new ones.
And for displaying upcoming events I am using the RSEvent plugin, is the
latest version including this feature as well (in order to deactivate
RSEvent)?
