[EventCalendar] 3.1._pre13 upgrade question

Hello Alex,

I would like to upgrade to the latest version of EC  from 3.1._pre13, the
current version I am using on www.fge.org.ro for managing the concert
schedule.
My question, after reading the Digest, is to advice me how to safely
upgrade, in order not to loose events already entered and to successfully
add new ones. And for displaying upcoming events I am using the RSEvent
plugin, is the latest version including this feature as well (in order to
deactivate RSEvent)?
